NASHVILLE-BASED singer-songwriter Emma Swift has announced she is working on a new album of Lou Reed covers. In her newsletter, she explained,

”In addition to the Resurrection album, I have been quietly working away on my next covers project, which is all Lou Reed songs. It's more or less a sequel to the Blonde on the Tracks project, in that I'm singing on someone else's songs, but I'm also trying to tell my own story. It's almost finished, and I'll have more to share from that soon enough. We go back into the studio at the end of this month. Wish me luck!”

Swift released her album of Dylan covers Blonde on the Tracks in December 2020, and last month, her first album of all original material The Resurrection Game. You can read our review of The Resurrection Game here, and our interview with Emma Swift here.
